An Altoona man was sentenced Thursday for shooting a woman in the Greenwood section of Logan Township in September of last year, according to the Blair County District Attorney Pete Weeks.

Weeks says now 43-year-old Justin LeFevre was sentenced to 38 to 76 years in prison on charges of attempted homicide, robbery and conspiracy.

Police say LeFevre was identified as the suspect in a drug deal/robbery gone awry on Sept. 13, 2020.

LeFevre was convicted of shooting the female victim in the arm during the incident.

Authorities note that at the time of the shooting, LeFevre was out on bail on drug and gun charges after he was found passed out in a vehicle at a local Sheetz in May of 2020.
