The Briton was born on August 14, 1968 in LondonEngland. Her father, Peter Bell, is Scottish and her mother, Mina Ezzati, is Iranian. Her father worked as an architect in an oil company, while her mother Mina had emigrated to London to study nursing. The two men felt an instant connection between them and were married soon after. However, when Catherine was two years old, they divorced and this saw Catherine being in the care of her mother. In 2007, she starred in the Lifetime drama series Military Wives Denise Sherwood, wife of a US Army Lieutenant Colonel. The talented actress has also played the role of Cassie, the main character in all the Good Witches series; The Good Witch’s Gift (2010), The Good Witch’s Family (2011), The Good Witch’s Charm (2012), The Good Witch’s Fate (2013), and The Witch’s Wonder (2014).
