People from Bedford County may soon recognize one of their small towns on the big screen.

Everett Borough will be featured in the Paramount Network and Apple TV series, "Defending Jacob."

On Saturday, there were crews filming on Main Street in Everett and at the abandoned turnpike tunnels in Breezewood.

Filming was supposed to begin early in the morning, but according to the show's location manager, Drew Nicholas, it was pushed back to later in the day.

The series features Chris Evans, known for his role in "Captain America."

Main Street was closed for filming from Spring Street to Hopewell Street.

We spoke to the vice president of the Everett Borough Council, Wendy Daley, who said, "We are very excited. It's an opportunity. We are very proud of our little town. It gives us a chance to get Everett seen on a national scale."
