The ads for Harajuku Mini show the singer in a reinterpreted Alice in Wonderland ensemble, but the images are all about the adorable little girl modeling Stefani's new line. The curly-haired cutie is wearing a pink graphic tee (with a signature Harajuku Girl on it) paired with a hoodie and white tutu that's too sweet.
The pop star and L.A.M.B. designer teamed up with the retail chain to provide the younger set with a line of clothing and accessories inspired by the Japanese street style that has infused her aesthetic since her 2004 album 'Love. Angel. Music. Baby.' Fans will recall that the seventh song on the LP is called 'Harajuku Girls' and the singer toured with Japanese back-up dancers on the record.
"I've always wanted to do a cool children's fashion line inspired by the super cute and playful kids' clothing you find in Japan," Stefani says. "The whole idea is about being creative, expressing your own individuality, and having fun getting dressed."
The fashionable collection is priced from $3.99 to $29.99, and will be available in Target stores nationwide and online on Nov. 13.
