Should have been a big sigh of relief! She dodged a bullet with poor Thomas who’s so desperate to be loved he’ll marry anyone who says yes .
How many people had he asked until he finally got a yes from Paris ?
Poor Douglas , he’ll say anything to keep his father from tilting .

What else was Thomas supposed to do? Keep loving hope and begging for her love? People get upset if he is still “obsessed “ with her, they get upset if he leaves and moves on, which way should it be? On some level she was using him and then began to fall for him. He wanted something different and made the decision (with or without help) to leave to take care of himself and his son. Am I happy about the pairing, not really, too soon to tell.

Did he ask the airline ticket agent? The stewardess on the plane , the waitress at the coffee shop ? Someone , anyone to marry ? He was so devastated he comes back engaged ?
Douglas will have to buy Mother’s Day cards in bulk .

Devastated or smarter? The relationship between he and Hope was not a balanced one. There is nothing wrong with someone leaving a relationship to help determine what he or she wants. Just because right now it doesn’t look like Hope will get her way, I’m sure with Bell’s biased writing she will get it one way or another. Until then, why not explore other relationships. Isn’t that what a soap opera is for? We don’t know how long Thomas has been gone. The relationship could have grown out of friendship. Until we know why should we bash the concept?

Thomas looks desperate and creepy , jump out of one relationship into the next .
If he loved Hope half as much as he pretended why not get some professional help to see if they can work out their differences,
Thomas looked weak and pitiful.
Once Hope gathers herself , she’ll realize she was right all along about him .

Duration of time together had no standing on if the relationship will be successful people can be together for years and not work out but then Meet someone new and after a brief time together spend the rest of their lives together and it’s not like he hasn’t known Paris for years he liked her when he met her but they were just friends and Paris was attracted to him and made a big deal calling Hope out for finding him attractive as well when they walked in on him changing and she was also the only person to support him when nobody else was so it’s no entirely unbelievable to me

Hope looks and acts like she is about to loose her mind! I hope she has a breakdown, going after a married Finn, now she will be upset because Thomas is not falling at her feet anymore, and good for him! Time for him to move on, he gave Hope everything and she wasn’t satisfied, just goes to show she really was just using him. I hope the relationship is sincere and he is finally over Hope stringing him along.

Hope doesn’t want Thomas anyway, she just wants what Steffy has - hopefully, she won’t get it - lock her up in the nuthouse for awhile, that’s what she needs.

I ask again, what did you want Thomas to do. Shower Hope with praise and give her his whole heart after she rejected him twice? It’s ok to get what she wants out of the relationship (constant praise and adoration and sex that rocked her world) but he cannot have expectations? What person in their right mind wouldn’t want to find a mutually accepting and loving relationship? It seems as if you find fault with Thomas if he is not bending to Hopes will. Perhaps Thomas was ready for a mature relationship. We all know where this will head, Paris is not a core character. Hope was more than willing to scoop up Steffy’s ring and pronounce herself as Liam’s fiancé but didn’t want to commit to Thomas, she needed more time. There is nothing wrong with that either but don’t knock the guy for wanting to wait forever.

Even if Thomas can’t get over his feelings for Hope, he needs to stop being her “adoring kicked puppy dog”. Seriously, have some dignity for yourself!!! Lil’ Miss Hope is NOT worth constantly debasing yourself just for her attention.

Hope needs medical help. She has headaches and sees everything through Loganized rose-colored glasses. Hope is sick, not thinking straight, unsure about why she feels the way she does, not herself.

I think Hope is going to be ill. That will bring Thomas back to her. I have no spoilers, but why have these headaches etc. if nothing is going to come from it other than her obsessing over Finn which is a huge writing mistake. Now, if this were Y and R, I would expect nothing to come from them and for it to be like it never happened. Loose threads all over the place on that show

I also think that Hope may be ill. But, Thomas going back to her won’t do any good as he is committed elsewhere. Hope is about to become the woman who is desired but just out of reach. LOL!

And, unfortunately, Doc Finn will have a front-row seat at Hope’s bedside. I figured that was why they gave her the headaches in the first place.

You make a good point. I really do not like them together, but I guess that will be what brings Hope and Finn together. Although, he is not a neurologist. How great would it be if they cast someone in that role for her? Not that she has to fall in love with her doctor, but a new guy is always good news.

I don’t know why Hope having headaches necessarily indicates a physical problem. Headaches can be brought on by mental/emotional issues, such as stress, as well as physical problems. The way Hope has been carrying on, she could just as easily need a psychiatrist as a neurologist–and Finn is neither. At one point, I think they said Li was a neurologist (like when she first appeared) but now they seem rather vague about what her specialty is. As for a therapist, Thomas might have his supply a list of names as possibilities for those who could treat Hope, since his therapist treating her would present a pretty strong conflict of interest.
