BIOGRAPHY
Real name Jacob Abel, the young American – top model in his spare time – was 18 years old when he appeared for the first time on television, in a TV movie broadcast on Disney Channel (Free Figure) in 2005. Over the

years following, after three appearances in the aborted series Threshold: first contact , he took over the small screen and took on the roles of “guest” in Zack and Cody (2006), Cold Case (id.), CSI Miami (2007) and Manhattan ( 2009), then Emergencies (id.). Finally, there are two demon-hunting half-brothers in Supernatural (2009-10) before landing in the hospital in Grey’s Anatomy (2011).

On the cinema side, he was discreet in Strange Wilderness by Fred Wolf (2008) before landing the lead role in Tru Loved , an independent film by Stewart Wade never before seen in France. His role in the biopic A Flash of Genius , released in 2009, allowed him to stand out in the world of US independent cinema, notably at the Hamptons Festival. He then took on the costume of Luke Castellan, son of Hermes, for the blockbuster Percy Jackson the Lightning Thief (2010).

In Lovely Bones (2010), he rubbed shoulders with Saoirse Ronan , a rising star whom he reunited with in 2013 for Les Âmes Vagabondes , an ambitious adaptation of a literary phenomenon by Andrew Niccol . In the meantime, he tyrannized Alex Pettyfer and Callan McAuliffe in Number Four (2011), showing to what extent the actor favors the fantasy and SF genres. It is not his participation in the second opus (2013) of the adventures of the lightning thief which testifies to the contrary.
