Live Nation Promotes Three In Venue Division

LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Live Nation has announced the promotion of three Live Nation executives in the company’s venue division.

Karl Adams has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Venues in the company’s Chicago Region. In his new position he will oversee all Live Nation venues in the Chicago region, including Alpine Valley Music Theatre, Charter One Pavilion at Northerly Island and First Midwest Bank Music Center Chicago.

Mr. Adams most recently served as District Manager of Venue Operations, Midwest Region. He began his career in 1989 at Deer Creek Music Center. He will be based in Live Nation’s Chicago offices.

Matt Prieshoff has been promoted to the position of Senior Vice President of Venues in the company’s Northern California and Northwest Regions. In his new position he will oversee all Live Nation venues in Northern California and Pacific Northwest regions, including The Gorge, The Fillmore, The Warfield, White River Amphitheatre, Sleep Train Pavilion in Concord, Sleep Train Amphitheater in Sacramento and Shoreline Amphitheatre, where he will continue to act as General Manager. He will also oversee three comedy clubs: Punch Line in Sacramento and San Francisco and Cobb’s Comedy Club in San Francisco.

Mr. Prieshoff most recently served as District General Manager Venue Operations, Northern California Region. He began his career in 1992 at Deer Creek Music Center as Guest Services Manager. He will be based in Live Nation’s San Francisco offices.

AJ Wasson has been promoted to the position of Senior Vice President of Venues in the company’s Florida Region. In his new position he will oversee all Live Nation venues in the Florida region, including Sound Advice Amphitheatre and Ford Amphitheatre.

Mr. Wasson most recently served as Chief Operating Officer of the Florida Region. Prior to that he was Chief Financial Officer of The Cellar Door Companies, a position he held for more than six years. He began his career in 1983 as a Production Manager/Promoter Rep for Cellar Door Concerts in Florida. He will be based in Live Nation’s Ft. Lauderdale offices.
