I’m not a fan of Drew & Carly either. It seems so rushed & forced. And they’re writing Drew out of character; his sole purpose is to follow Carly around like a lost puppy.

Billy Miller’s Drew wasn’t interested in Carly romantically. And Carly didn’t give Drew a second thought once Jason was back from the “dead.”

I guess they want us to forget all that but I haven’t.

How lovely and comforting to see a developing romance. Romance in the afternoon- YAY! The scenes with Carly and Drew provide such a refreshing counterpoint to violent shootings and hooker killings. Not that the suspense of those stories shouldn’t exist; it’s just wonderful to have a mix that helps GH fulfill the many layers needed for an enjoyable daily soap opera.

… and it drives me bonkers that they have Drew acting like he never had anyone or anything before when he had his childhood friendship with Bobby (Franco) AND later on Kim & then eventually Oscar.

It’s like the wiped his backstory clean & are starting over with a blank bot.

I still see Ryan Lavery every time he’s on my screen - he’ll just never be ‘Drew Cain’ to me.

I don’t see him as Drew Cain either. He’s too much of a goofball to be Drew Cain. He’s completely obsessed with Carly. He has no life other than to be Carly’s lapdog. They’re trying to force this pairing & it’s coming off as a complete joke.

Yeah. They’re writing Drew now as if his real purpose in life was to find Carly. As I was watching the show one day recently, I found myself asking if he even remembered Oscar.

I really don’t care whether they get together or not. I just couldn’t believe how long and drawn out their beach scenes were!! I admit that I had to fast forward through some of it!
