The back scenes of what REALLY happened in Paris! - The Young and the Restless

August 2024 · 6 minute read

OMG! Tucker is a real scoundrel! His treatment of Ashley IN PUBLIC at the Paris restaurant was horrible! I know Ashley did ‘pull a number’ on him, but geez…temper much??? And I was wondering what restaurant ANYWHERE would allow this commotion to happen in there and not say ANYTHING, language barrier or not!!! Wow, I knew Ashley had said a couple times Tucker was “scary” to her and frightened her, but WOW! Even breaking glasses!!! And a minor thing: (Was Ashley charged with the meal and damage?)

The fact that no restaurant staff, or other customer, stepped in to tell Tucker to calm down is, for me, just another indication that Ashley is building the scene up in her mind to justify, to herself or to others, why she was supposedly so afraid of Tucker.

Of course we are seeing these additional scenes in bits and pieces, as the writers decide to dole them out, so we are being kept in the dark about what really happened. BUT…if Tucker was so over the top angry and Ashley so deathly afraid of him why, oh why, would she be pushing Devon to give him another chance and by extension encouraging him to let Tucker closer to Abby and Dominic?

I was thinking the same thing. The fact that the wait staff kept walking by and didn’t say a word was crazy.

I don’t know why they made Tucker that over the top with Ashley. Mind you, I wouldn’t have been that scared since it happened in public but considering the actions of the staff maybe she was warranted…lol. They should send Tucker to counselling so he can understand the root cause of his anger with Ashley. He has a problem with Ashley choosing family over him. This has to stem from his relationship with Katherine.

Yes, someone should have asked them to leave, it was inappropriate at best.

It was almost unbelievable, uncomfortable and I’m almost sorry I saw it. I will say the actor really pulled a hate filled rage out and totally sold the entire awful scene.

This  You’d think it was just a normal day in a Paris Cafe???

Yeah it was bad. I’m surprised Ashley sat there taking it. I wonder how Tucker remembers that scene

I thought it was odd too. The waiter didn’t even flinch or look their way. I would like to see Tucker’s version before I condemn him for the argument. No matter, I absolutely do love TSJ as Tucker. He has certainly grown on me.

This is where I’m at as well. Especially since Ashley has met up with Tucker back in GC, having a drink and offering to help him mend fences with Devon. She did not seem one bit leary of him or afraid??? My hope is Ashley is remembering it really wrong.

I agree totally
What is bad is she has told her story about that to others who now hate him even more. Not cool

I remember talking about this and commenting that if she was so afraid why was she meeting with him. hmmm, is there more going on here. I don’t want abusive tucker.

The thing that got me was Ashley’s reactions to the situation. She came across, to me, as being an abused domestic violence victim. That’s not our Ashley, she’s no shrinking violet.

Tucker is dangerous! He acted like a complete maniac in Paris and for a moment, I thought he was going to hit Ashley. She is insane trying to get back with him.

Tucker really hates the Abbott’s. He is a slithering Snake and they ALL , should be very careful around him.

That’s what stood out. Plus the fact that they were seated in a very prominent location. It wasn’t as though there were in their own little corner. From my own experiences in Paris, I know that that the waiters/waitresses don’t come around as often as they do here; they give you a wide berth to enjoy your meal and dining companion(s) properly. That said, Tucker was loud and aggressive. And we saw the waiter in the background. It’s ridiculous that no one said anything.

Plausibility aside, I’m glad we finally received some context as to Tucker’s abusive behavior. TSJ sold the rage well.

I was also very focused on Ashley’s reaction. She looked genuinely afraid of him. Like she thought he was going to hit her. I guess i expected her to look more annoyed or angry herself than cowering and afraid. I was running through my mind thinking has Ashley been abused before? Is she having PTSD?

It is very scary to have a man yelling in a woman’s face. It is abusive. I think that she would be afraid. I’m not sure if the restaurant staff would get in the middle of their argument. I think that the staff would stay clear of it.

You must have never seen any of the Real Housewives shows!! LOL!! That’s a regular thing that happens almost every episode with them. It always tickles me, because they all think they are so elite with all their money and glam, but then they act like THAT in public!!
