Vivica A. Fox apparently doesn’t want gay men to patronize her Las Vegas strip club, Black Magic.
The Empire actress stopped by The Breakfast Club to promote her new Lifetime show — similarly titled Vivica's Black Magic — in which Fox searches for dancers to employ at her male revue.
But when asked whether gay men were allowed inside the club, she was clear in her response.
"Hell no," she said. "Back all that up. No, no."
When further pressed by one of the radio show's hosts, Charlamagne, as to why she doesn't want her employees to dance for gay men, Fox responded, "Because there's no need to. They dance for women. It's called the Ultimate Girls Night Out for a reason."
Fox has since responded to the backlash received over her comments on Twitter, saying she no offense was intended. She then retweeted several users who claimed her comments were taken out of context.
"Never said that at all! They took a small part of an answer to a question and tried to start a fight and I'm not doing that! Love not hate," she wrote in response to one user's tweet.
